Motorists in the region can expect a slight relief in fuel costs as the price of high-octane 98 petrol is set to decrease. Starting from Saturday, October 31, SuperPlus 98 petrol (E5) will drop by 3.7 cents to €1.899 per litre. This change offers some financial respite for those relying on this specific type of petrol.
However, the news is less favorable for consumers of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and residential propane. Over the same weekend, LPG prices will increase by 2.9 cents to €0.972 per litre, while residential propane will see a rise to €0.953 per litre. These adjustments indicate a higher cost burden for households and industries dependent on these fuels.
The updated fuel prices effective October 31 are as follows: EuroSuper 95 (E10) is priced at €1.759 per litre, Diesel (B7) at €2.11 per litre, and heating fuel at €1.601 per litre. Additionally, bottled propane will cost €2.459 per kilogram, while bottled butane will be available at €2.262 per kilogram.
These changes reflect the fluctuating nature of fuel prices and their impact on consumers. While those using high-octane petrol may benefit from reduced costs, the increase in LPG and propane prices presents a challenge for households and businesses that rely on these energy sources. Staying informed about these price shifts can help consumers plan and manage their energy expenses more effectively.
