Starting November 4, Luxembourg motorists and households can expect a reduction in fuel prices, providing some financial relief for those reliant on petrol, diesel, and heating fuel. EuroSuper 95 petrol will see a decrease of 8.1 cents, bringing the price to €1.678 per litre. Similarly, SuperPlus 98 will drop by 6.4 cents, resulting in a new price of €1.835 per litre.
Diesel users will benefit from a 7.1-cent reduction, making the price €2.039 per litre. Heating fuel will also become more affordable, decreasing by 7.2 cents to €1.529 per litre. These changes come as part of updated pricing that aims to ease the financial burden on consumers amidst fluctuating global fuel markets.
The adjustments extend beyond just vehicle fuel. LPG will be priced at €0.972 per litre, while residential propane will cost €0.953 per litre. Additionally, bottled propane and butane will be priced at €2.459 per kg and €2.262 per kg, respectively. These reductions are expected to offer some economic respite as they come into effect at midnight on November 4.
The price cuts are particularly significant for consumers who rely heavily on fuel for transportation and heating, providing a welcome decrease in household expenses. As Luxembourg implements these changes, drivers and households alike can anticipate some relief in their monthly budgets.
